CCEA approves subsidy rates for P&K fertilisers
The Cupboard Committee on Financial Affairs has authorized Nutrient Dependent Subsidy (NBS) premiums for Phosphatic & Potassic (P&K) fertilisers for the calendar year 2021-22 (from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022) with web subsidy of ₹28,655 crore for Rabi 2021-22.
The authorized premiums are ₹18.789 for every kg for Nitrogen, ₹45.323 for every kg for Phosphorous ₹10.116 for every kg for Potash, ₹2.374 for every kg for Sulphur, for every an formal release issued following the CCEA meeting on Tuesday.
A special 1-time offer for extra subsidy on DAP at the tentative extra charge of ₹5,716 crore and 3 most eaten NPKs grade at the tentative charge of ₹837 crore was also authorized, expanding the full subsidy needed to ₹35,one hundred fifteen crore, the release added.
The CCEA also authorized the inclusion of Potash derived from molasses (::fourteen.five:) under the NBS scheme.
The selection on P&K fertilisers will allow its clean availability to the farmers for the duration of Rabi Year 2021-22 at the subsidised/cost-effective costs of fertilizers and guidance the agricultural sector by continuing the existing subsidy levels and offering special packages of extra subsidy for DAP and 3 mainly eaten NPK grades, the release said.
