Fuel-Tanker Explosion in Sierra Leone Kills at Least 99
A gasoline tanker exploded in Sierra Leone’s money Freetown late Friday, killing at minimum 99 persons and injuring dozens far more, authorities said Saturday.
The explosion took place soon soon after a gasoline tanker collided with a further auto in the vicinity of a gasoline station in the city’s eastern suburb of Wellington, producing a massive spill, town officers said. Inhabitants in the space had collected with plastic containers to acquire spilled gasoline, in accordance to rescue workers and town authorities.
