Adam Matłacz

Polish. Kozminski University. Masters in Administration, graduated 2021. Senior challenge chief, Demant, Warsaw

Did the program live up to your expectations?

Indeed, and to some degree it even exceeded them.

Getting finished my first degree, I thought there would be a person or two topics I would come across really interesting — normally it would mainly be repeating issues that I previously knew, or more concept that I could not place into practice. But basically there had been many topics that had been interesting or valid to what I do. Just one of the courses, on creativeness — which was not straight linked to management — was so interesting that I created my personal workshop.

I began in IT as a software package tester, so I created a workshop for testers named Exploratory Testing Masterclass, which was based on what I learnt at Kozminski and in my professional lifestyle. I did the first a person for charity, but now I do it commercially. I thought that at the conclusion of the program I would just have a piece of paper to clearly show that I am educated in managerial abilities, but I also created something based on my studies.

Dusan Dragicevic

Serbian. Shanghai Jiao Tong University: Antai. Masters in Administration (Global Enterprise), graduated 2020. Professional product planning, Porsche China, Shanghai

How do you utilize what you learnt on the program?

What has aided me most is that I learnt how to work in a multicultural natural environment.

I also learnt a good deal about accomplishing small business in China and its historical past, lifestyle, the Chinese way of contemplating, behaviors and so on. This is the encounter I respect the most and use on a every day basis. With my colleagues, Chinese and non-Chinese, I recognize how they think a lot more, many thanks to the worldwide nature of the masters. It also supports my work with my Chinese clients: I recognize their requirements, tastes and tastes a lot far better because I have been learning and dwelling in China.

Getting a grasp of both equally these mindsets will help me be more successful, productive and proactive in my work. It supports my private development but it also contributes to my company’s outcomes.

Nikita Lewis

Indian. IIM Calcutta. Write-up Graduate Programme in Administration (MBA), graduated 2021. Senior affiliate, Boston Consulting Team, Mumbai

What was the most crucial lesson you learnt on the program?

I learnt to be brave and talk to concerns, even when there are no obvious responses.

We did an work out all through a program named “Digital Transformation of the World” where by we had been questioned to imagine a magician who knows every little thing and to take into account what we could talk to them. We could not receive the responses we need to have nowadays or tomorrow, but keeping asking is a terrific get started and will help us have an open up attitude and stay clear of inertia.

I have also modified how I check out mentoring. Just before signing up for the masters, I thought that achieving out for mentorship and feed-back was something you did when you essential enable. I was amazed when my professors and seniors proactively guided me, be it all through studies, job decisions or interview preparations. I realised that mentorship and feed-back go outside of assisting when essential and are more about your total development.

Alejandro De Los Ríos Palacio

Colombian. Neoma Enterprise College. MSc in management, graduates 2022. Profits management trainee, Enterprise Holdings Team, Strasbourg

Why did you make a decision to review a masters in management?

I chose the program because in my earlier work I experienced found that so quite a few of my managers did not really know how to take care of a workforce. And since I was a minor child, I really needed to be a chief.

When I was fourteen, some buddies and I worked in a church in Cali in Colombia providing breakfasts to people today on low incomes — and even then I often experienced new concepts and needed to acquire.

That is why I chose the masters in management, because I needed to understand how to motivate a workforce, how to know if a workforce is performing, how to acquire a workforce — management is a person of my favorite issues. Knowing how to figure out how people today work and how they interact with each other is something I come across really interesting. The masters has offered me these abilities.
